how to run a simulation with Upstream inflow perturbation ?

Hi
I also want to run a simulation with a dynamic inflow perturbation. This is inspired by https://doi.org/10.1016/j.geomorph.2015.05.039
However, I can not find the settings in the iRIC GUI.
Could anyone please help me?
Thank you very much for any reply.

iRIC does not ensure the safety of the attached file.

Hello, it seems you want to perform calculations where the grid shape adapts to meandering, correct?

Just to clarify, are you using Nays2D or Nays2DH? Please note that Nays2D is the predecessor of Nays2DH and is no longer distributed.

If you are using Nays2DH, I believe you can achieve this by setting “Select solver type” to “+Advanced” and enabling “+Bank erosion.”

Firstly, Thank you for the fast reply!
I have enabled “bank erosion” in my simulation, but the meandering is not as good as the paper.
How can I obtain the original Nays2d program?

Hmm, as far as I remember, “Nays2D” was integrated into “Nays2DH” quite some time ago (during the iRIC ver. 2 era), and it has not been supported or distributed since then. Therefore, it is unclear whether it is compatible with iRIC ver. 3 or later. You might be able to obtain the program if you contact the developer, Professor Yasuyuki Shimizu.
