I would like to know what kind of scheme is applied to interpolate the elevation data(point) when selecting “Template mapping” in the Geographic data mapping option.
Grid => attributes Mapping => Setting => Geographic data mapping

The TIN algorithm is a well-known scheme to interpolate point cloud data into 2D contour maps.
However, I couldn’t find any information about “Template mapping” in the user manual.

I want to ask the meaning of “Number of Template Expansions” and “Weight Exponent” in the Template mapping setting.
