The first iRIC version 3.0 short course was taught May 8-10th at the USGS office in San Antonio, Texas. The class was taught by Jonathan Nelson with assistance from Scott Charlton, Travis Terrell Ramos, and Frank Engel (course coordinator). Five solvers were covered during this 3-day class: FaSTMECH, CAP, SAC, Nay2dh, and Nays2dFlood. Several other solvers were briefly described. Students provided feedback on the tutorials and new interface tools and solvers for the 3.0 platform. This is an exciting first step as we transition from 3.0 beta to the first 3.0 release in the coming weeks!
