This week, we are holding an iRIC training workshop at the University of Santiago in Chile, organized by JICA.

The participants come from Spanish-speaking countries such as Chile, Peru, Panama, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico, and many of them are responsible for flood and sediment-related disaster management. They grasped the material quickly and were able to work through almost all of the example exercises we prepared with ease.
