From July 15 to 19, we held an iRIC workshop at the University of Chile in Santiago, the capital of Chile, as part of a JICA project. This workshop was attended by a total of 20 participants, not only from Chile but also from surrounding Latin American countries (Bolivia, Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Peru, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico). Everyone was very enthusiastic about learning. As key young researchers and administrative officers who will shape the future of their respective countries, they were very talented and quick to understand, making the workshop smooth.

The feedback was extremely positive, and everyone was impressed by the capabilities and user-friendliness of iRIC.

We conducted intensive sessions from morning till evening over five days with three instructors, which left us nearly exhausted.

In the middle of the workshop, a professor from the University of Chile took us on a guided tour of the glacier areas in the Andes Mountains, providing us with a valuable experience.
