An iRIC workshop was held over two days, November 18 and 19, 2024, at the Hydro Informatics Institute (HII) in Bangkok, Thailand. Approximately 40 participants attended, including HII staff, personnel from various water-related government agencies, and researchers and students from universities such as King Mongkut’s, Kasetsart, and Chulalongkorn.

As a first-time initiative, parts of the workshop were conducted by Thai instructors. These sessions, delivered in Thai, were well-received by the participants for their clarity and accessibility. Additionally, some exercises were based on actual Thai rivers, adding a greater sense of realism to the workshop.

We hope that similar workshops will continue to be held in the future. We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Professor Sanit from King Mongkut’s University and Professor Adichai from Kasetsart University for their invaluable support, from the preparation stages to the organization of the event.
