On June 11th, I had the honor of visiting the Kiso River Upper Reach Office, where I delivered an impassioned overview of the latest version of iRIC. Following the presentation, I was guided through a captivating journey along the Kiso River, exploring its many historical flood control structures and the Waju Museum. Immersed in the rich legacy of Japan’s flood management history, I felt as though I had stepped back in time—a vivid encounter with the romance of the past.
The following day, thanks to the generous hospitality of Professor H. from G University, I was taken on a breathtaking tour of iconic landmarks such as Inuyama Castle and Naegi Castle. Surrounded by lush greenery and ancient stonework, I stood in awe, imagining the echoes of samurai and lords who once roamed those grounds. It was truly a dreamlike experience.
I am deeply grateful to everyone who made these two unforgettable days possible. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
