Calculation condition

Hi,
When develop the 2-D flood modelling, there are tow methods, namely CIP method and upwind scheme in the “calculation condition- Others- Finite differential method for advection terms “. What are the differences in these two methods and which one i need to select for simulating flood events. Your early replies will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Although the accuracy of CIP is higher than that of upstream scheme, I think both methods have enough accuracy for flood analysis.
