My name is Khanvixay from Laos, I would like to know how to create tpo-file for Nays2Dflood, I had downloaded DEM and import to ArcGIS and do raster to points, but I do not know how to export tpo-file. if you have the procedures or some guideline please share me by my email or here. thank you for your kind assistance in advance.

Hi,
First create text file from DEM using ArcGIS or QGIS. Then save text file with “.tpo” extension, so u get tpo file which can be exported to NAYS2D Flood.

YOU NEED TO HAVE THE QGIS SOFTWARE, IN THIS, AND HAVING OPENED OR LOADED THE DEM DATA, YOU GO TO THE RASTER OPERATIONS AND YOU OPEN THE CONVERTION FORMAT TOOL; YOU SEARCH THE FORMAT XYZ AND YOU DO THE FORMAT CONVERTION , AFER YOU OPEN THE FILE EXPORTED IN WORDPAD AND YOU CLICK SAVE AS AND REPLACE THE EXTENSION DE .XYZ A .TPO OF THE FILE, THIS IS READY TO USE IN IRIC SOFTWARE
