Install Failures

When trying to install iRIC v4, I am running into an error with the miniconda package specifically. The program installs fine without trying to install/add the miniconda package. However, I see that zlib.dll and potentially the sqlite3.dll files are contained there. This is causing the rivmaker GUI to throw an error for the missing dll files when attempting to launch it. I have tried directly placing the .dll files in the rivmaker GUI directory as well as the root iRIC install directory but it results in the same errors. Re-installing did not help with this issue.

    Thank you for using iRIC.
    Regarding your inquiry, I tried to reproduce the issue. Here is what I did in my own environment:

    1. I uninstalled iRIC v4 and reinstalled the latest version, choosing not to install Miniconda 4.
    2. An “iRIC v4 (Release)” icon was created on the desktop, and I double-clicked it -> it started up normally.
    3. I selected Option -> Tools -> RivMaker 2.0.5 -> it started up normally.
    4. I launched RivMaker.exe directly (by double-clicking D:\iRIC_v4\guis\rivmaker\Rivmaker.exe in Explorer) -> as you reported, a message appeared saying that sqlite3.dll and zlib.dll could not be found and that the program could not run.
    5. I copied sqlite3.dll and zlib.dll from D:\iRIC_v4\guis\prepost to D:\iRIC_v4\guis\rivmaker, and then launched RivMaker.exe directly again (by double-clicking D:\iRIC_v4\guis\rivmaker\Rivmaker.exe in Explorer) -> it started up normally.

    In summary:

    * RivMaker started normally when launched from the Option -> Tools menu of iRIC v4.
    * RivMaker did not start when rivmaker.exe was launched directly, but it did start normally once the DLLs were copied.

    Based on your report, I suspect you encountered the same situation as step 4 above. You mentioned that copying the DLLs did not resolve the problem (I assume you tried something similar to step 5), but in my environment the result was different.
    I apologize that I do not have a full picture of the situation on your machine, but could you please try steps 1 through 5 above in your environment and see whether RivMaker will then start up normally?
    Thank you very much.
